Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are pleased to announce that International Official Show Jumping Competition CSIO returned in 2009 to the beautifully located Sopot hippodrome after a seventeen-year absence.
Polish Equestrian Federation has awarded Sopot hosting of the CSIO in the years 2009-2013 based on the high level and success of CSI competitions held in Sopot during the last 8 years.
This year's CSIO will be held at Sopot Hippodrome, 1 Polna Street, between 10th and 13th of June.
Total prize pool will amount to 150,000 CHF.

Moreover please be informed, that CDI-W International Dressage Show also will be held in Sopot, between 9th and 13th of June.

In addition to watching equestrian contests, spectators will enjoy various festivities, including spectacular shows, parades and a family fair.
Last year 7 national teams with a total number of 56 riders and 132 horses participated in CSIO’s eleven competitions over four days.
The riders themselves considered the Sopot competition to be highly successful. Everybody praised the beautiful new sand parcour arena with its jumps by the "CARO GmbH" of Germany which was sufficiently difficult but also interesting. All teams were delighted that the event's organizers were so dedicated and complimented the wonderful atmosphere of the entire CSIO Sopot event. They promised to return next year and said that they will put the word out in Europe that it is a must to be in Sopot in 2010.

So ... see you in Sopot between 10th and 13th of June !
